Synopsis:
The BAU is called to investigate a series of bank robberies after it becomes evident the crimes are not based on money because the robber abuses his victims by forcing them to undress before he leaves the crime scene.

Los Angeles, CA
Best Moments Between Characters:
  • At the end when Gideon talked to Hotch, who was struggling with the case and who was to blame for how people like Caleb turn out. Gideon told him that they if they've saved one life, they've saved them all.

Best Lines:
  • Elle: "Stripping bandit. That's terrible. That makes it sound like the bandit's doing the stripping."
    Reid: "What would you call him then?"
    JJ: "Pervert."
    Elle: "Scumbag."
    Morgan: "I'd call him an ass..
  • Gideon: Ready?
    Morgan: Let's go rob a a bank.
  • Hotch: "You know your digital perspective whatever software?"
    Garcia: "Digital Perspective Analysis Rendering?"
    Hotch: "Yeah."
  • Garcia: "Honey, not only do I know it, I helped develop it."

  • Parole Officer: LYNCH? A real peach; He used to punish his girls by raping them in front of their little sisters.

The turning point in the investigation:
While comparing pictures of the security guards from the bank scenes, Morgan and Gideon notice that in the previous robberies, the guards were wearing dark suits; but in the most recent, he was wearing a uniform. They realized that something about a guy in uniform triggers an emotional response from the unsub, which means he’s been in prison.


Whodunit?
Caleb Dale Sheppard. His mother turned to drugs when he and his sister were young, and took out her loneliness on them. His sister committed suicide. Through his actions, Caleb was symbolically punishing his mother – his fantasy is about sons gaining total control over their mothers.
