Synopsis:
The BAU attempts identify and catch a serial bomber who has been terrorizing the city and targeting centers of automated technology. Working with the author of a science fiction novel that has become a guide for the bomber, the team attempts to determine why certain sites have been chosen as targets.

The turning point in the investigation:
When Gideon realizes that the Unsub will try to act out the final part of the novel by killing Professor Kent.

Whodunit?
Kenneth, a student in Ursula Kent's class who believed she wrote 'Empty Planet' as a message for him.

Trivia
The episode is loosely based on Theodore Kaczynski, aka the Unabomber. Unabomber means University and Airline bomber.
