Synopsis:
Hotch requests a transfer, Prentiss resigns, and Gideon is missing, leaving the team three people short as they track a serial killer who abducts women in very public places.

Milwaukee, WI
Best Moments Between Characters:
  • When Hotch approaches Prentiss at her apartment and tells her that he knows what Strauss is up to and how Strauss is using her. He tells Emily that he knows that she had ammunition against him and chose not to use it. They are still bound by their jobs and need to go and help their team.
  • Gideon leaving a letter addressed to Spencer, because he knows it will be Reid who will be coming to the cabin to check on him.

Best Lines
  • Garcia (answering the phone): "Talk dirty to me."
    Erin Strauss: "This is Section Chief Erin Strauss."
    Garcia: "Ma'am, I think it goes without saying that I was expecting it to be someone else."
  • Prentiss (to Hotch, in front of Strauss who is reprimanding him): "Sir, it's good to see you back. The team needs you."

  • Reid (to local cop): "You worked the Jeffrey Dahmer case."
    Cop: "Yeah - 18 years ago."
    Reid: "I read up on it."
    Cop: "And you remembered my name?"
    JJ: "He remembers everything."    Morgan: "It's what he does."






The Turning Point in the Investigation:
When they're in the conference room, JJ suggests they take a look at the child and not just the UnSub.

Later, when Hotch tells Reid that he needs his head in the game. After that, Reid is able to clue into the type of child they are looking for--not one that is withdrawn, but one that is eager to please, do extra credit, and be on time. This narrows their search and they find the boy and his father right away.




Whodunit?
Joe Smith, a single father who was diagnosed with inoperable brain cancer. His wife left him six months prior when she found out that he was dying. The man picks up married women with children by using his son to lure them. He brings them home and makes them be "nice to his boy." He also convinces his son that women always leave, though the boy ends up okay.

    Well at least they let Gidean go in a way that he could return someday.. It looks like Hotch ( Thomas Gibson has a wife who is having an affair. Did you not catch the phone call in which they hung up when Hotch answered and then her cell phone rang but she didn't answer it. Yes she left him for someone else. As for the ole hag who could not solve a misdemeanor I am not sure why they brought her on except to be a thorn in the teams side sort of like on CSI that dorky guy who is over the team. I really don't think this show will be as good as before but am holding back my final verdict for now.
