Synopsis:
When people who seemingly have nothing in common are shot at random in New York City, the BAU team is called to investigate whether a single serial killer or a team working together is responsible for the killing spree.

Set in:
New York, NY
Best Moments Between Characters:
  • When Rossi followed Morgan to the bar. They had a heart-to-heart about the job. This is a far cry from how things began with them when Rossi came on board and shows how far the two of them have come.
  • When JJ tells the team she's pregnant. Everyone looks so shocked, then when Hotch pulls her aside, he looked almost hurt when he says, "JJ, you could have told me."

Best Lines:
  • JJ: [to Garcia after seeing Kate Joyner] "Is it just my imagination, or does she look like Haley?"
  • Detective: (after hearing Reid ramble) "I see you brought your own computer."
  • Morgan (to Hotch): Focus? From where I’m standing - all you’re focus is on her. (referring to Kate Joyner)
    Hotch: Take a walk. Now.

The turning point in the investigation:
After detective Cooper was shot by the UnSub, Prentiss figured out that the UnSubs were actually targeting law enforcement in order to fulfill a higher motive.

    I have seasons 1-5 on dvd, and I have seen this ep, but my mom hasn't. She usually lets me watch only 4 episodes a day, but when she watched this one she told me, "Put on the next episode, I can't go to bed with a cliff hanger!!" It made me laugh in my head, cuz Hotch is her favorite and she was going to find out that Hotch was effected in the blast! ;)

    This is so unfair! Anybody out there see if one of the team DIDN't get in their black car??? My husband is a cop and thought maybe one of them were remotely starting their car??? What do you think???
