Prior to her role as JJ on Criminal Minds, AJ Cook had roles in numerous television series, including "Dead Like Me," "The L Word," "Tru Calling" and "Goosebumps." She also starred in the series "Higher Ground" alongside future Anakin Skywalker, Hayden Christensen. Her feature films include "Final Destination 2," "Wishmaster 3," "Out Cold" and "The House Next Door." Her most recent film credit is "I'm Reed Fish" also starring Jay Baruchel and Alexis Bledel. She will guest star in an upcoming episode of Law & Order: SVU titled Mask. AJ Cook left Criminal Minds at the beginning of Season 6 and will return in Season 7. She guest starred in "Lauren", and is going to guest star in the Season 6 Finale "Supply and Demand".

Biography:
When she was four, AJ began ballet, tap and jazz lessons. Her first acting job was in a McDonalds commercial in 1997.
