Current Status: Alive. Currently a member of SSA Andi Swan's team in the Domestic Trafficking Task Force. (Mentioned in 7x01)

Vital stats: Ashley was initially brought onto Hotch's BAU team in purely a consulting position in order to help the team build a profile for a serial killer who happens to live a rather normal life in a gated New Mexico community (6x10 "What Happens at Home"). Also, her dad was a famous serial killer. She keeps the unread letters that her father sends her. She met Agent Rossi and Agent Hotchner when her dad was being hunted.

Background: Ashley's real last name is Beauchamp. Her father, Charles Beauchamp or the Redmond Ripper, killed 25 women in rural North Dakota before Ashley was a teenager. All she knows about her father is what she has been told and what the newspapers published. She uses her mother's maiden name of Seaver to deter any connection to her father. At the beginning of What Happens At Home, Ashley is in remedial training at the FBI Academy after sustaining a concussion in a hand-to-hand gun battle. In Hanley Waters, she is promoted to the rank of Special Agent after graduating from the Academy and the death of her training supervisor, Emily Prentiss. Not much more than that is known about her since she tends not to speak about her past. In Out of the Light, she figures out the unsub after two identical pieces of stained glass appear at a victim's home as well as the unsub's cabin.
