Criminal Minds FlunksThis is a featured page

Do you ever watch a television show and realize that they messed up somewhere and didn't cut it out?
Do you ever notice this while watching Criminal Minds?
I know I do, and this is where we can share :) ~ DantanaFan15 ♥

SEASON 1

Extreme Aggressor 1.1 -
At the end of the episode, as they are saving the victim, it is dark outside. In the next scene, they show the ambulance loading the victim into the ambulance, obviously only a few minutes later and it was bright sunlight outside.

Plain Sight 1.4 -
At the end when Reid is taking the Red Skins tickets out of the box we see that the front is is red and yellow and has the Red Skins logo on it and that the back is white with small print. As the camera changes repeatedly from showing Reid from Gideon's view to Gideon from Reid's view, the tickets change the way that they are facing so that the back of the tickets is somehow facing Gideon AND Reid at the same time.

The Fisher King Part 1 1.22 - At the end of the episode when Hotch sends Elle home, he tells Anderson to take her. Anderson says "Yes sir," and puts on his jacket. Hotch says to Elle "Get some sleep," and as he walks out with Elle, we see Anderson put on his jacket a second time.

SEASON 2
P911 2.2 - When Amanda Gilroy is talking to HUGZ online at the start of the show he asks her if she is interested in the boy, "Peter", she replys 'very.' when it shows the full conversation after it says 'very', the full stop is missing.

P911 2.2 -
In the jet with Agent Cole we see her sit down due to her fear of flying, she sits in front of Hotch. We then see her come from behind Hotch with a laptop.

North Mammon 2.7
- When Gideon goes into the Bunker, the girl that died is lying on the floor behind him when he is confronting the UnSub, who is sitting infront of him. In the first shot, the girls legs are slightly spread apart. The camera switches from Gideon to the UnSub and back to Gideon again. The girl is still lying behind him, but in this shot her left foot is crossed on top of her right foot.

Sex, Birth, Death 2.11 - When Reid is talking to Nathan, Garcia leaves them alone. In the first shot, behind Reid, you see her go into the elevator and it closes. It then changes head shots from Reid to Nathan and back to Reid again. In the second shot of Reid, you see her go into the elevator again.

The Big Game 2.14 - In the beginning of the episode when JJ is playing darts, if you look behind her you can see a waitress tending an empty table. When the waitress moves, you can see two men sitting against the wall near the table. After JJ picks up her cell phone, she walks by that same table, and ruffles Reid's hair as she passes. Where did Reid or his Star Trek trivia friends come from?

Revelations 2.15 - When Hotch and Gideon are discussing whether Reid will make it, Gideon says "He'll make it" and Hotch walks away. Then Gideon turns, and just before the screen cuts, you see Hotch walk back across the screen, going the opposite way he just went.

Revelations 2.15 - On the commentary, they repeatedly stated that MGG was literally chained to the chair in the shack with Tobias, and then at some point Tobias (as Charles) comes and picks him up forcefully. How does he do that if he's chained to the chair? SpencerReidLUVA answers your question: He was chained to the chair, but if you looked during the episode, his hands were cuffed to a leather strap between his legs. Tobias could still pick him up, but MGG's hands went straight down when he was lifted, because the strap had reached it's length.

Revelations 2.15 - When Reid has the seizure, his right foot (with the sock on it) is on the chair. After we come back from commercial, when Tobias is giving him CPR, both of his feet are on the chair. As soon as Reid is alive again, it is back to his bare foot on the ground and the one with the sock on the chair.

Revelations 2.15 - The first time we see Raphael and the first time we see Charles, Reid's sleeve of his right arm is down. But the first time we see Tobias, Reid's sleeve is already rolled up, as Tobias would be drugging him. We never see Tobias roll it up, so who did? Reid obviously couldn't since his hands were in handcuffs nor would he roll it up to begin with.

Jones 2.18 - When Reid is talking to Ethan at the bar, he's sitting with his legs crossed. The shot switches to Ethan, and when it cuts back to Reid, his legs are crossed the other way. (This is especially obvious because Matthew Gray Gubler always wears mismatched socks.)

Jones 2.18
- W
hen Reid and his friend are at the bar, Reid's phone rings, when he opens it, it's shown as being in 'silent' mode.

Ashes and Dust 2.19 - When the Cutler house is burning, they repeatedly show a photograph of the mother holding her son, the picture facing left. When JJ is briefing the team and introducing the case, you see Morgan and later Hotch holding a copy of the picture, and it's facing right.

SEASON 3
Seven Seconds 3.05 - At the end of the episode, just before the team finds Katie, Hotch says to James to take the storerooms at the end of the hall and that he (Hotch) will take the ones upstairs. In the next shot of Hotch, which is about 5 seconds later, you seem him going down two flights of stairs. They couldn't have cut this out, but why say he was going upstairs, then film him going down?

About Face 3.6 -
In the scene where Strauss introduces Rossi to Hotch, Rossi's beard is shaved, then in the scene in the jet he has a face full of hair. How could he be from shaved to hairy in about less than twenty minutes of getting ready?

Penelope 3.09 - When James Colby Baylor (aka Jason Clark Battle) is buying the revolver he plans on using to shoot Garcia again, there is a box of bullets on the counter. There is no way the owner of a gun shop would allow a buyer access to ammunition as he's buying it; he could go all Van Damme and shoot the place up.

3rd Life 3.12 - In the scene where the Agents are bursting through the doors, when they find the body of the teenage UnSub, they are holding their guns oddly. They're looking at the scene 'over the sites', typically a Military tactic where you shoot anything that moves. Police, and FBI, would hold the gun lower and bring it up if action must be taken.

Tabula Rasa 3.19 - JJ states that the people in the hospital claimed that the woman visiting the UnSub had brown hair and brown eyes, but when JJ and Rossi go to visit the woman at her home, you notice in her close up that she actually has very dark blue eyes.

SEASON 4
Minimal Loss 4.03 -
At the beginning of the episode, it shows the reporter and the cameraman outside the church. When there was the explosion the reporter asked the cameraman if he was getting the shot, but then when they continued the part near the end, during the explosion the reporter didn't ask the cameraman whether he was getting the shot.

The Instincts 4.06 - In Reid's dream sequence at the beginning, his shoes change several times. In the hallway, they are black, when he is at the top of the stair they are white and at one point they are brown.

Cold Comfort 4.14 - When Emily and Hotch go to Ivan's house to ask some questions Emily states that the victims fit his typ, blond hair blue skin when realy the line is suppost to be blond hair, blue eyes.

Zoe's Reprise 4.15- JJ states she saw Rossi when she was attending Georgetown. In the "North Mammon" episode, it was revealed she attended University of Pittsburgh, not Georgetown.

The Big Wheel 4.22 - When Morgan, Prentiss and Hotch are at the crime scene, using the video to re-enact the killing, Hotch, portraying the UnSub, comes in and Morgan says that he first shuts the door and then approches the woman. But he actually stabbed the woman, shut the door, then took her to the sofa.

SEASON 5
The Preformer 5.07 -
At the end as the people are talking about the music they like, (Hotch liking the Beatles White album and how Charles Manson liked it aswell), Reid says that that is why he sticks to Beethoven because 'There's no chance of guilt by association' but in an earlier episode (season 4) Reid says he always prefered Mozart to Beethoven. Of course in this episode he had to say Beethoven for the Clockwork Orange joke to work, but it's still a contradiction.

The Uncanny Valley 5.12 -
As it shows the three victims around the table having a 'tea party' with the UnSub, Samantha, the position of
Bethany Wallace's (
the blonde victim) hand changes position many times, without Samantha moving it, before she is given the tea cup and her hand then placed the right way.

When asked how long he's been doing this(working at the BAU I assume) he answers 5 years, 7 months, and 19 days. This answer assumes he started right about when the show did, which isn't true. According to Hotch in LDSK, he'd already been working there for 3 years.
