Hi, I know that now that JJ is a profiler she is SSA rank, but was she that rank prior to her departure? I know that the rest of the team members were all SSA (including Reid) in season 1. But I don't recall having seen JJ's badge in the first season.

what does everyone think of him? i personally love his accent and he is pretty hot. him and JJ are cute together even though i prefer Reid and JJ.

i dont like this character. Everytime they use her they bore the hell outta me, she's just really blah. There is nothing special about this character, she has no personality, nothing. I hope they end up replacing her. She fades away in the background easily. She has a role that could easily be made better...not sure if it's her acting or that they simply have her act like that.

Okay, DO NOT READ THIS IF YOU DON'T LIKE SPOILERS!! I don't want to be responsible for ruining the show for anyone.
.... According to the 'Criminal Minds Fanatic' site: "Things lighten up [in the new episodes] with a relationship for Penelope and a baby for J.J., thanks to A.J. Cook's real-life pregnancy. ''We definitely are trying to put a little bit of lightness with all the dark,'' says executive producer Ed Bernero..." I can't wait to see these new episodes, and I'm wondering how JJ's pregnancy is going to be written into the story. Is she having a relationship we don't know about? Not sure how far along AJ Cook is, but I've read one person's opinion that they've been hinting at this for at least a couple of episodes (with JJ refusing to go drinking with the team in 'Birthright' and being really hormonal during that episode). She's also apparently been covering her stomach in recent episodes, but I haven't gone back to check that yet. Either way, this should make for an interesting storyline. Any theories?? And how about a nice big 'Criminal Minds Fan Wiki' congratulations to AJ Cook! I'm sure she must be very excited.

Guess what?
I followed up on my word from the "JJ is so underused" thread and wrote a little crackfic based on "JJ - The Secret Mastermind of the BAU." I don't know if it's just me, but I feel like the writers are always focusing on everyone else. They've only had two episodes ("North Mammon" and "Jones") where she was predominately featured and I find it slightly annoying. I mean, I understand that she's the liaison and not an actual profiler, but she seems to possess just as much knowledge on the subject of twisted minds as everyone else (well, maybe everyone 'cept Reid, lol). I mean, she practically broke the case in 3x02 "In Name and Blood" by suggesting they focus on the son and not the unsub. So yeah, we need more JJ storylines!!
I would like to note though that I am really pleased to see that the writers have been putting her out in the field more with the rest of the team. It's nice to see her running around with everyone else, holding her gun and breaking into houses, and so on. LOL Kudos for that!

JJ was used more than Rossi last night. More than Prentiss perhaps. Every scene she was in was spectacular. The best one by far would have to her shooting the UnSub. =]
