"I found this a few days ago. I really didn't like Gideon on the show. Now, I REALLY don't like him. He said he didn't know the show was going to be so violent. Did he not read the scripts? He just didn't show up to the season three table reading. That could have cost people their jobs. And why bring it up now?I was so annoyed with MP when I read this article. He just sounds like a big, complaining wimp. I guess I can quit wishing that Gideon would appear again, just for closure. Really don't care if I never see MP again. 6 out of 6 found this valuable. There are now a total of four different articles saying the same thing- Criminal Minds Disgusts Me. I say enough already. OK, you didn't know a series called Criminal Minds, that was to be about serial killers would be so violent. I think he is trying to get publicity for his show. Well, he's getting it. Whether is positive or negative publicity, that is yet to be seen. As for me, I can't wait until season eight. The countdown begins!

But like you said tannerose5 he was the one who chose to do it knowing how dark it was. BTW there are darker movies out there and everybody like them. And what happens everyday in real like is far worse than what we see on the show, the difference is that we ignore it. 1 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

I don't think Mandy knew how dark the episodes would get. As he said they were always about the same horrible things and they became more graphic as time went on. No actor knows in advance exactly what the episodes are going to be about. I still watch sometimes. Some people have said to me that it got too much for them so they stopped watching after season 4 or 5.

Ah,Iñigo1but this was long ago! As yousay,he looks horrible,and he looked horriblewhen he was in CM! Also,an obnoxious character...and a very very greedy man,superb,even if(one myst recognise this) a great actor,of course. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

But the title of the show was,since the beginnings,Criminal minds,and not honey and roses..and,by the way,M.P. is doing "homeland",where he poerfroms aGideonlike character,a Jewish agent whom trains a CIA assassin,teaching her how to torture,kill,infiltrate,etc,etc,. So? No,it was because of the dollars!!!MP is a very superb actor,superb in all the senses..and an operatic divo.I know very well about opera and operatic divos!!!They thin they are the center of the universe.And so thought MP.When the show prsented like much more popular the characters of Reid and GArcía,and even Emily....he felt jealous...and asked for more money.Once his petition was rejected,he simply left,And so he did in chicago hope,and so he will do in Homeland.You will see!! 2 out of 2 found this valuable. He was disturbed by all the despair,and decided to help the unsubs change their ways. Instead of using a map and leading all of them to the gates of heaven, Gideon had the map upside down and led them to the gates of he++ instead. Maybe this could be the finale. His last words would be about maybe getting Chicago Hope to help. hahaha. Too much time on my hands.
