Did anyone else think this episode was very similar to "Derailed"? I think it was a good show, but not the best. When shows start to run out of ideas, I get worried. I want to give Seaver a chance. I think her acting is good and she's getting a bigger role. It was sad without Prentiss, as I think she added quite a bit to the cast.

For some reason i really liked this episode...it shows how Reid really feels about his mother and how easy he gets upset when talking about that stuff....it was more of a "Reid" show witch is good:) but i really miss Prentiss and I dont really like change so im not feeling the new girl yet

One of the reasons I love this show is the random details they dig into. Case in point, “We are all headed to Portland, Oregon, and not for a Dead Moon concert.” As a Stumptown native and long time Dead Moon fan, I stood up and cheered. Scared the hell out of my wife. For those who don't know, Dead Moon is one of the seminal American alternative/punk bands, started in a garage in Portland, little known but incredibly influential.It doesn't surprise me that Penelope knew them, but made me even more sad about Prentiss, because she would be the only other team member with a shot at the reference. Do you find this valuable? |

People with schizophrenia and anything similar show up on the show every once in a while, and I guess in that respect it was similar, but they put an entirely different spin on it. If anything, I think it was a much better done version of Derailed. The biggest similarities I saw were the people following the guy around and Reid trying to talk the guy down, but they were done in entirely different ways. Besides, the second is almost a once an episode kind of thing. So I guess they're similar, but I personally didn't see it as running out of ideas. I think it's safe to say this show might actually be coming out of it's little slump? This is what drew me into the show, not the "let's scare the crap out of people! 8D" kind of show we've been getting a lot lately. I felt so bad for the poor kid in the show, no matter what he did they just wouldn't leave him alone. he's the first unsub I've honestly felt bad for in a lot time, it's nice to get away from the complete monsters sometimes, no matter how sad it can be. I loved how Reid explained that schizophrenia isn't just hearing voices and seeing things, and how it doesn't necessarily make them into serial killers, people always seem to forget that, especially in crime shows. They treated him like an actual person, which I thought was really nice. And again, one of the things I love most about the show. The part where Reid said to stab him in the neck cracked me up though, my mom pretty much gave me a death glare for that. xD 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Haha:) Ya, same here, I started laughing when Reid did the stabbing motion on his leg, it kind of disterbed me a little..

In the beginning Hotch talks in his phone and he says "is she okej" and then he hang up and starts to talk to Rossi...Am I the only one that thinks he talked to perhaps JJ and asked about Prentiss?

This episode was way better than some this season I'm glad to know I'm not the only one that was happy to hear Hotch was looking for a more experienced profiler not a grad. Loved the Morgan Reid scene and how Reid counted all the wounds and the looks of the cop and Morgan. I loved the whole does unsub have schitzo or not? What's the missing factor? Insomnia thing? Even liked the Morgan Seaver scene because it involved the cute Reid. Loved seeing the purple scarf back. Missed Emily though. Still don't understand one thing, did the unsub have schitz or not? Or was he just a psycho killer from birth or a combo? Even loved the halluncination Reid saying to stab him. I was so praying someone would notice the kids closing the blinds and then Hotch noticed. Has anyone else noticed how protective Hotch is getting of Reid and the others, do you think he knows something's up with Reid?

There's a scene in 2x15 Revelations where they are worried that they won't be able to figure out where Tobias Hankel has Reid and Hotch says to Gideon, "You know, I always take advantage of Reid for his brain, but I never actually teach him how to deal with things emotionally." I've always liked their relationship because I thought that Hotch looked at Reid as kind of a surrogate son. 3 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |

When he said it I started to laugh so hard. Later when I remembered it it was a bit sad for me because I also love books and hate when due to my chores cant find time for reading. It was a good show not the best, but one of those I'm gonna be watching again. Loved inter-reaction between characters and the fact Reid was sleeping like a baby at the end of the episode. Unsub was interesting but to me it looks like they forgot something. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Finally someone besides we fans are noticing how sex he has become over the years (i still miss his long hair tho) @ Tmothydee - i used to live in Oregon & remeber Dead Moon, i couln't believe they referred to it. i lived there in the 90's when Alternative rocked & ruled. that music was beast-still love it & listen to it on YouTube!!! Luckily, it was Morgan would said it. I was thinking I was going to have to pick a new favorite character if Hotch had been the one to say it. Thankfully, that's no longer necessary ;). I noticed a lot of fans are upset because this episode didn't show much of the team grieving for Emily, but if we think back, by the end of "Lauren", Emily had already healed and was on her way to whereever.....so it had been some time after the "funeral". Plus these are professionals that can't let emotions show as much as we would.

I really loved this episode - the unsub was great and I felt so sorry for him. All he wanted to do was sleep but his mind wouldnt let him. And I cried when he was asking his mum to help him but she told him to read the bible.And Im sure I wasnt the only one who laughed when Reid told him to stab him in the neck. If only Reid was that happy again. Hes been very depressed ever since Corazon :( And he only read five books last week! I think my favourite bit was when Morgan and Reid were talking and Morgan called him Pretty Boy. WHEN was the last time he said that? This episode was pretty good compered to some of the other ones. I thought that since this was the first episode after prentiss "died" there would somebody upset other than Garcia. I thought the cupcake part was funny though. I liked how Reid told Morgan about his headaches and the only person he told was emily.This unsub seemed like a nice person. He only wanted to sleep. and he even went for help, at the church, even though he was looking for the wrong kind. I cant wait for the next episode whent the team finaly deals with prentiss' "death". 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |
