Excellent episode, it was a bit different, but I find it nice every once and a while when they stray from the repeated pilate. Even though my favourite character to watch is always Dr. Reid, I found Strauss, Morgan and Hotch brilliant in this episode! I actually enjoyed the explanation the writers gave for her leave last season, it was actually quite believable. Now was it just me or did she seem significant;y more enjoyable this episode? Also, Reid, "Good joke", had me laughing out loud! I look forward to watching this episode again,.... I also look forward to MORE REID!!! Hopefully he will get a good few episodes since he hasn't gotten much enjoyable action since "Doubt". 6 out of 7 found this valuable. Do you? |

i liked the episode. I found something weird: A year ago, in my CM fanfic, I had wrote that Strauss was an alcoholic and Rossi replaced her. And then this episode shows a year later.... I was shocked. I really honestly wanted something bad to happen with JJ (since she hasn't been in danger barely) but the season is still writing. Good writing and acting! can't wait till next week's eppy!

LOVED this episode. I love that I totally didn't see the twist coming, which the dad. I mean you knew the kid wasn't all that he appeared to be and the Massey character, but I DID NOT see it coming. Then the Strauss angle. That was some good stuff. Tonight in the CM Set Report Chat with Jayne (actress who plays Strauss) and Erin M(exec producer) a lot of questions about Strauss came up and were talked about and I'm really excited to see where they take this arc in character development! I hope Morgan and Strauss get more screen time together, I loved the fiery nature of their chemistry. Them both being such strong alphas, I'd love to see them butt heads more as Strauss faces her problems 2 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |

Self-Fulfilling Prophecy was a good episode. I thought it was funny when Reid scared Garcia. I love what Prentiss said to Rossi about having poison ivy, "You know if I got it, so do you." Prentiss and Rossi had some great moments in this episode. I thought at first that Strauss was one the team's side when she yelled at Massey,but then finding out she's been drinking. I didn't see that coming about Strauss having a drinking problem. I love the end when Hotch and Morgan confronted Strauss about her problem. It was a good moment in the episode.

I didn't see the drinking coming either. I thought maybe more deadly illness behind Strauss' "problem"... so we are focused on addiction again, which falls right in line with a job so stressful. Wonder if Prentiss was able to stop that poison ivy. I also have a 'resistance' to it. lol. I'll have to watch again. I always see more when I watch an episode again (and again... and again). The whole episode was very suspenseful which was great.

I loved this episode. It showed how there are still the darker sides of military and military schools but even if the school and people there are cruel kids can rise above it. Like in any school or any situation. I like seeing Hotch and Morgan go at it sometimes. I like how they faced the Director at the end and made her get help. Hotch would know for sure where she'd hide it having the dad he did. I about laughed my ass off when the kid saluted the headmaster guy. I loved this episode.
