OK, I have more than two hours before it airs on the West Coast, but I'm so psyched that I had to find the forum so I could post asap. Looking forward to it! :)

Love. Love. Love. I love how they compared the victims of the Piano Man (loved the name) to Emily, especially Regina. It just fit so well. I love it. Through out the entire episode I was like "I am so confused" and when it all tied together in a nice shiny bow at the end made it even more amazing. The episode was perfectly named because I didn't know who did it up Hotch was reading the unsub his Miranda rights. 5 out of 5 found this valuable. Do you? |

Good episode. At least the writers at CM didn't drop the ball regarding Emily's emotional recovery from the Doyle incident (unlike NCIS,whose writers didn't show Ziva dealing with her imprisonment and torture). Speaking of NCIS, was the actress who played the vigilante the same one who played Holly Snow on 2 NCIS episodes? Loved the mention of Sergio (especially because Emily lied to the counselor and said he was her boyfriend)! I wonder if part of that scene was adlibbed, because Thomas Gibson looked like he was trying not to laugh (especially after the "he poops in a box" comment.

That was definitely the lady who played the madam on NCIS. I liked the vigilante justice angle, although I was worried for awhile that she had the wrong person. But if you watched carefully, you could notice shifts in the unsub's behavior that gave him away. And I loved that in the end, he hid in fear from her, showing that he was truly a coward at heart after all. Loved seeing Prentiss emotionally unstable, as any of us would be after being tortured. Also loved seeing Prentiss and Hotch work together again, and her confide in him in the end. Other than Reid, he is the only one who really knows what it's like to be tortured so it made sense to me that she would turn to him. Also loved the bit about her "new boyfriend Sergio" and Hotch's raised eyebrow when he asked her about it. It totally did look ad-libbed, and I loved that Hotch actually had to struggle not to laugh regarding the pooping in a box comment. That will probably be the first and only time we get to say that, but hey, we will take what we can get as far as Hotch showing a sense of humor :). Very good acting all around in this episode, I thought, and an intriguing storyline. 5 out of 6 found this valuable. Do you? |

Totally loved this episode! I was really unsure if the Piano playing guy was the actual Piano Man--great suspense. Loved seeing Emily and Hotch discussing her trauma. This episode was perfect for the 150th CM.

Terrific episode. I liked the vigilante justice angle in this episode. The unsub was truly a coward at heart after all. I loved the end, how Hamilton Bartholomew hid in fear from Regina Lampert, which just showed that he was a coward. Loved seeing Prentiss emotionally unstable as any of us would be after being tortured. I love the jet scene with Prentiss and Hotch, when Hotch wanted to talk to her about her evaluation. I loved the bit about her, "new boyfriend Sergio" and Hotch's raised eyebrow, when he asked her about it. I also loved seeing Prentiss and Hotch work together again, and her confide in him in the end. It makes sense that Prentiss would confide in Hotch because both of them went through massive traumas in their lifes. I thought Paget and Thomas were great in this episode.

HEY!!! Okay! I’m just now landing my CM high last Wednesday night!!! I have SO much to share! FIRST: WRITERS!!!!! WAAAHAHHHHHHHHOOOOOO Again! That ep was OVER THE TOP good! And Also it came on after my season7 fav Painless, too!!! Wednesday was a good night for us CM fans!!! MORE!!! MORE!!! XD 1. To find that Emily had been in therapy, and have it suggested that she mourn her own death was almost unexpected, but it worked for me, since I said about 7.01 that she didn’t seem sorry enough when she showed up after they “thought” she was dead. It was like she can really compartmentalize, but she also needs to be human! This worked! 2. “I don’t care if you lie to your therapist.” From Hotch?!? Mr.Tight-button-perfect-tie-never-blink-no-sense-of-humor says “I don’t care…”? I was like WHAT!!! That was a HUGE departure from the rule-abiding guy he normally is, but it totally worked! 3. The Emily/Hotch moments were the best family moments in the ep! I absolutely LOVED their deal!!! That was real, and it was practical, and I could TOTALLY see it! AWESOME!!! 4. THE TWISTS!!!! Oh man! The twists in this ep was A-MAZ-ING!!! When Regina tazered that guy who helped her leave the bar, it was like WHOA! And then it seemed like he was the wrong guy, and then he confessed!!! MAAAAAAAAAAN!!! I was on the edge!!! She was panicking like “What if I got the wrong guy?!? But I know I couldn’t have!!!” Super good!!! 5. Wasn’t really in love with the idea that Emily had to pretend she liked the young unsub’s sickness in order to get him to talk, but this happened in ep OutFoxed, so okay. 6. Since when does the BAU stick around after the unsub is caught to help the DAs build their case? Loving it!!!! 7. When Regina had old unsub torturing him, and the phone rang, she answered it, and was like “Listen, can I call you back?”- So calm, “No Im not torturing anybody!” LOL!!! Best Quote Nominee!!! 8. HERE’S THE KICKER!!!! When Emily took the call about the fingerprint results, she was the only one who knew whether or not the old unsub was Regina’s attacker. So when she told Regina it wasNOT a match, I felt like Regina did! I was like that’s impossible! We saw all the things that she remembered, and HE CONFESSED!!!! Then it hit me- Emily was lying. It was a match- Then it was a little weird watching the cops/FBI help the unsub, while the victim was put in handcuffs- Ugh… 9. Later at the table, Regina asked Emily “why didn’t you let me kill him?” I was like “I knew it! I knew it!!!” First of all, this whole scene was amazing! Rarely do we see women face off like this. I don’t want to compare Regina to an unsub, but the wits’matching was awesome! Emily told her “I lied because I didn’t want you to go to prison”. “Like I’m not in prison now?!” So poignant! And then,… boy boy… “Did you shoot him?” When Regina hit that nerve about something happening to Emily, and Emily couldn’t deny it, WOW!!!! Then Emily was like “I didn’t pull the trigger.” That was not a confession to make her point to Regina. That was an admission of failure!!! We saw her fight with Doyle, we know he stabbed her with… a broken table leg for all that wooden stake could have been. But Regina didn’t know that!!! AWESOME!!!! We saw Emily doing her job, and being human. Good combination for her! :-) For that Season6 fiasco, this was definitely some lemons into Lemonade!!! XD 3 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |

10. So back to the Emily&Hotch deal: When he first told her that all her wanted her to do was tell him when she was having a bad day, I thought that would happen before the ep was over, just because if it happened 3 or 4 down the line it would have been out there by itself, and it would have made no sense. So it had to happen close. But How! Emily’s galvanized! She won’t crack under any pressure- Then … the table! Her talk with Regina was more instrumental in getting her to deal with “Doyle” than all 12 episodes of therapy!!! I was kind of upset at 7.01 when she came back, and didn’t really seemed moved that she had hurt them all, but now that she’s really dealing with it, it’s works alittle better! And what’s funny! Consistency point for the writers- When Hotch told her she was overcompensating, that’s the same thing he said about her to Straus when he profiled the team! (Ep In name and Blood???) Hotch said Prentiss was new, and he said she was overcompensating to earn her place on the team, but she has nothing to worry about. On one hand, it seemed too easy because it was said before, but on the other hand, it was a perfect representation of the kind of thing she would do! YAY!!!! Everything about their chats was awesome!!! GOOD JOB WRITERS!!!! XD And really, you have to think??? How well does Emily know human behavior that she can lie to/trick a trained professional therapist??? :-D (But didn’t trick Hotch!!!) 4 out of 4 found this valuable. Do you? |

This ep was good all around, and honestly, it’s nice to rave about an ep this much!!! And the TITLE was perfect, too, because all through the ep kept us guessing about who the unsub really was!!! PERFECTION!!! I miss having eps that fit together like this, and work so well that I’m over the moon about them!!! The last one was ep Painless, and that one aired right before this one!!! You think if they’re reading these posts that they did that just for me??? Naw! XD I was teasing that since I say they read these posts and air bad S6 eps to spite me, that since they aired my s7 fav, then rocked it out with an AWESOME new ep, they did that on purpose too! XD This AWESOME ep was for ALL of us fans- SO GOOD, we can ALMOST forgive them for Season 6!!! XDD (Almost???) THIS is why I’m obsessed!!! KEEP’EM COMING WRITERS!!! This one should be nominated for something!!! TOO TOO GOOD WAHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO YEAH!!! XD Until later! I'm ALL in !!! 150 More!!!! At Least!!!! Lovin it!!! <3 3 out of 3 found this valuable. "DC, your enthusiasm is contagious :). Painless was also my favorite ep this season, with this one coming in second and Proof a close third. I agree with everything you said here about how everything was so uncertain and then fit together perfectly. I also loved when Regina answered the phone and then said, "Can I call you back?" so calmly. I guess if someone is ready to face his or her monsters and demons, he or she could have that sort of calmness about him or her, but it was chilling nonetheless, as was Em pretending to like the unsub's behavior. But, like you said, it worked in Outfoxed and I guess it worked here, too, but it was creepy anyway. Nothing about this episode was what I expected, which was awesome. We watch a lot of crime dramas and sometimes it feels like we always know what's going to happen so it was nice to be surprised and thrown off by the story line. But now we have to wait until 2/8 for a new episode :(. 4 out of 4 found this valuable. Do you? |
